  1. mark,

Scharpling & Wurster/The Best Show on WFMU: basically a lifestyle at this point. http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/bs

  2. high aura'd,

Andy Andrist-Dumb it down…essential and so brutal

    Louis C.K.-Shameless & any others

  3. Otis B.,

What Mark said (“Kid Ebay”!!!), and if you haven’t heard Paul F. Tompkins “Impersonal”…

  4. Peter Cook would likely improve your personality.

  5. the token scot,

Ditto to Otis B’s recommendation of Paul F. Tompkins. Any album by Doug Stanhope is great too.

  6. the latest Patton Oswalt cd is absolutely totally amazing ,especially his KFC and Star Wars prequel bits!!!
pardon if you’ve already heard it….

  7. Beth,

The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show and Looney Tunes (minus the racist ones) always make me laugh. Oooh, and I haven’t watched the Muppet Show in a while.

  8. Beth,

Just remembered that Brian Turner played something off a stand up album on his show this week. Erma Bombeck (?) was saying she thought anyone who watched 116 football games a year should be pronounced legally dead, among other insights. Her delivery was better than a blog reply, though.
