CHRIS HEDGES: “How do we reclaim the culture that was destroyed by corporations? How do we fight back now that the consumer culture has fallen into a state of decay? What can we do to reverse the cannibalization of government and the national economy by the corporations?”

One Response

  1. Quite simply, we reclaim it by empowering our municipalities and states. We reclaim it by municipal takeovers of utilities and communications. We reclaim it by establishing city medical departments and kicking out the health insurance companies. We reclaim it by replacing single-use zoning with multiple-use diversity zoning. We reclaim it by building for pedestrians, not cars. We reclaim it by limiting the operations of corporations to the state where they are registered. We reclaim it establishing state stock markets and commodity exchanges. We reclaim it by asserting our immigrant origins and demanding free immigration now! We reclaim it by abolishing the Federal Reserve now! We reclaim it by repealing the Democrats payoff to the Wall Street Return on Equity Gang! We reclaim it by kicking out the current group of fascists! We reclaim it by RUNNING FOR OFFICE OURSELVES AS INDEPENDENTS and not leaving it to the political parties!

We reclaim it by removing every federal and national threat to the power and freedom of any individual.
