“Corporations as Uber-Citizens”: Douglas Rushkoff on the Supreme Court

  1. I’d love to see America challenge it’s current government; in particular its clinging to ancient economic methods and practices. I fear, unfortunately, that the beast has trained ‘U.S.’ all too well, through the media, to lay down and take it. I speak not of Arthur’s readership, but of the vast majority of who’s not Arthur’s readership. I posit to you, dear reader of Arthur’s-once-magazine-now-and-mayhaps-forever-blog that you may want to go out there and do something about this, for the lying sheep have garnered an apetite for lion-abuse, through powerful incessant coercion. It’s unfortunately up to the few to save the many, so let us get on with our duty, yes?

  2. Andrew says:

The resistance in America needs to form our own viable economic system… team up with locals and form new money/barter systems, and network with other communities to set exchange rates and whatnot. Like, “100 national time dollars are equal to an ounce Ron Paul Texas Gold Note which will get you two used well maintained 12 speed bicycles in Portland, or a huge sack of weed from Humboldt.” Buy and sell houses without the globalist banking system. Stick around in one place long enough to have an economic and political impact on local government – like what Joe Strummer said in his Arthur interview.
