The wet, cool summer we’ve had here in the Northeast has proven to be a great year for mushrooms: not only are the forests full of strange shapes and colors, but people are finding choice edible mushrooms growing right outside their door. Chanterelle and Black Trumpet are peaking at the moment, so get outside if you can.
